Meet the team

  • Jeff St. Germain is the namesake of JFS Guitars and JFS Restorations and our guitar guru. Having been a touring musician and working in local repair shops before starting JFS, he knows what the modern player needs and how to build a guitar to match the player. Jeff also fronts local band, The New Noise.

  • Co-owner with Jeff, AJ Galvin was first a customer of JFS Restorations and became a true believer in JFS craftsmanship after commissioning a couple customs for himself with JFS. He supports the business back end for the creative and production team.

  • Alex Hemond is the JFS Guitars paint and finish artist that adds the final, eye catching colors and details to the guitar of your dreams. He is the touring guitarist local band, Another One Down, and runs his own recording studio in Rhode Island. The 30 or more instruments in his studio are all serviced and customized by JFS.

  • Kevin Mack is a master wood worker with a degree and background in antique furniture restoration and construction. Being a lefty guitar player that could never find the lefty of his dreams, he and Jeff partnered to build it. He now brings his expert and unique guitar creations to the JFS Brand.

  • Ryan Beck is the website designer & drum builder at JFS. With 16+ years of drumming, he tours with his Providence based band, Another One Down!
